The
Beginning Teacher is responsible for:

know your program status to ensure completion of the
portfolio requirement within the BTIP framework;
·
verify on an annual basis that his/her information is
correct;
·
inform the Division of Professional Standards, in
writing, of any changes in assignment, name or school district;
·
utilize resources available in your district such as
your mentor, other teachers, department chairs, and principal;
- utilize resources provided by the DPS (Division
of Professional Standards) such as portfolio overviews, guides, handbooks,
and websites.
