JHS Library Mission Statement
The mission of the Jefferson High School Library is to provide current, readily accessible information from a variety of print, electronic, and audio/visual sources to meet the curricular requirements and recreational reading needs of the total school community. The library’s mission also is to teach the skills necessary to access, retrieve, evaluate and use such resources. Finally, the library will promote literacy and lifelong learning by providing a quiet, supportive, empowering environment for inquiry, personal study, and leisure reading.
